I would like to thank Rona & Tony for looking after our ponies, but also for looking after their owners!!! I am quite sure that all the owners agree with me, in saying that you are outstanding in every way. Our ponies are cared for beyond belief! They have a 5 star home, nurtured, fed with optimum care, according to each ponies need, grazed on lush fields with ample space. You both go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure that the ponies in your charge are happy and healthy.
Pixton Hill Livery yard is the most wonderful place. You both look after the owners with complete grace. Nothing is too much for you. You are there with kind advice and expert tuition.

I have had horses for 30 years and been at numerous different yards throughout this time, including high profile professional yards. I can honestly say I have never come across a yard quite like this. It has exceptional turn out, olympic sized sand school with amazing surface, horse walker and fantastic hacking but they are not the main reason I would never stable my horse anywhere else. It is the care!
Rona and Tony work tirelessly 360 days a year. The horses have 4 feeds a day, hay that is measured and bespoke to your horse. Each horse is treated like they are their own, with such love and care. The yard has such a quiet and calm atmosphere.
Rona and Tony are so incredibly special as nothing is ever too much trouble, they go above and beyond every single day. The horses are so happy there.

My mare and I have been lucky enough to be looked after at this lovely yard for nine years now, as this really is a place where the owner truly cares for your horse as well as they do their own. The horses are relaxed and happy because they have a regular routine that includes turnout, and I have peace of mind knowing my beloved horse is a happy girl. Rona is knowledgeable and supportive, with bags of common sense and is a great teacher, encouraging and understanding, and always gets a good tune out of her pupils. The place is well maintained, the hacking’s great and varied and we’re lucky to be amongst a lovely group of friendly owners. I can really recommend this yard!

I have been at Pixton Hill Livery Stables for many years. Everyone is so nice and friendly.
But, the main reason my horse( now 29yrs) and I are here is the care.
Nothing is too much trouble for Rona and her partner Tony and if it hadn’t been for that care I am in no doubt that my horse would no longer be with us.

I cannot recommend Pixton Hill Livery more highly. The standard of care is excellent, with every horse treated as an individual, and looked after as though they were Rona’s own. How happy and healthy the horses are (despite the odd one having a slightly greater than average age!) speaks for itself.

You will be hard pushed to find a more relaxed wonderful environment for you and your horse. Rona and Tony work so hard yet make it so easy to settle in. Your equine love will feel like one of their own at Pixton Hill Livery. With round the clock care and only the best quality feed and bedding will do. Fantastic supervised turnout and when it gets to soggy they will always ensure each horse is able to stretch their legs.

I was so lucky to find this amazing setting on the edge of Ashdown Forest with endless hacking all year round as well as beautifully floodlit menage. I had just had a baby and with riding commitments limited, I was able to feel completely at ease knowing that my treasured life long mare had the best possible care. Nothing is too much trouble for Rona and Tony they will do everything they can to support and offer advice at any stage. Unlike similar environments there’s no awkwardness or competition, each and everyone there will soon become wonderful friends, always eager for a companion to hack out with.

When the difficult time came to say goodbye to my dear mare, Rona handled the whole situation with the upmost care and dignity, something I feel I will be forever grateful for her support. I could not recommend this lovely livery yard more to anyone. The reason why it is so sought after is down to how beautifully it is run.

I have been at Pixton Hill Livery since the summer of 2011 with my Connemara gelding Storm. He has enjoyed 5 star treatment from the day he arrived. The routine suits him so well. Rona and Tony check each horse carefully every day. They adapt feeds and hay nets to the condition of the grazing so my greedy horse is never overweight. It is this kind of attention to detail that is so reassuring. The facilities are excellent especially the sand school and walker. I cannot get down every day and I never worry about my horse. Rona and Tony cannot do enough for the horses and their owners. I live in Oxted which is a round trip of an hour to the stables. I could keep my horse nearer home but the journey is worth it and I would never move him from Pixton Hill Livery.

Pixton Hill Livery – a lovely, quiet yard, in beautiful surroundings with the most wonderful, helpful and caring owners and great liveries. I couldn’t have picked a better yard for my mare, being the first horse I had owned Rona has been an incredible support throughout our time at Pixton Hill. Rona and Tony are great, always welcoming and always happy to help. The horses get no less than 5* treatment, each horse is cared for as an individual and Rona will always go above and beyond to ensure they get the care they need. Rona’s knowledge and experience really helped when I was struggling with confidence or unsure how to do something. Sadly, I had to sell my mare, but if I am ever fortunate enough to have another horse, Pixton Hill would be my first choice every time. Thank you for everything Rona and Tony, you are both quite literally the best. I very much miss the lovely atmosphere and all the people.

I moved Marlo to Rona’s after returning to work and not being able to keep him on DIY anymore. Rona came highly recommended by a few horsey friends and I can see why. I can’t fault Rona and Tony’s care. Rona goes above and beyond what I’d consider part livery services. My highly strung warmblood was so settled in such a short space of time, the routine is so consistent, the stables are immaculate kept, the yard is spotless! The facilities are great and the hacking is excellent, Rona has even taken the time to show my sharer the hacking routes.
